Itinerary

Day 1: Pakse - Katouat - Tad Yuang (Lunch + Dinner)
The tour starts from our office in Pakse. We leave Pakse around 08:00am, heading to Katouat village. On the way, you can see coffee and tea plantations and many rice paddies. In Katouat village, we meet the villagers, coffee farmers for most of them, and enjoy the view on the Bolaven plateau, Pakse and the Mekong valley.

Then, we start to work in the fields with the farmers and help them picking the coffee cherries and come back to the village where we have lunch with the villagers. After lunch, villagers show you how to pulp, ferment, wash the coffee cherries, and then how to roast and grind the beans.

We can now enjoy a delicious cup of fresh coffee. In the afternoon, we take the minivan and go to Tad Phasuam, a quite U shaped waterfall. We can relax here for a while and enjoy a relaxing swim. On the way back to Katouat, we stop in a tea farm where we learn how the tea is processed.

We spend the night in Katouat.

Day 2: Katouat -Tad Yuang waterfall - Pakse (BF + Lunch)
After breakfast, we walk to the top of the hill and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Bolaven plateau. We return to the village and have lunch there.
We start our way back to Pakse and stop at the nice Tad Yuang waterfall and enjoy a relaxing swim. Our final stop before Pakse is to visit a tea plantation to see how the tea is processed. We arrive in Pakse in late afternoon.
