Day 1: Pakse (Dinner)

Pick up from Pakse Airport and welcome to Pakse, quiet city in southern Laos, situated on the Mekong River. Drive to Hotel (Pakse Hotel) for check in. Then visit Pakse market and Wat ThaLuang temple which is a school of young Monks. Later enjoy the sunset on top of Pakse Hotel restaurant with a panoramic view of Pakse city.

Day 2: Pakse - Bolaven plateau (Breakfast + Lunch +Dinner)

8:00 AM Meet your English speaking guide in your hotel lobby and he will expain your day tour then follow him by riding your bicycle towards Bolaven Plateau. You pass through villages, local shops, coffee and tea farms. Break and Lunch at tad Etu waterfall, (35km fromPakse). Then by car visit the twin cascades, Tad Fane and later enjoy a cup of coffee in a local coffee farm where you will be able to learn Laotian coffee from tree to the cup. 4:00 PM Drive to a beautiful resort called Sinouk Resort, where you will spend the night in the middle of Bolaven Plateau.

Day 3: Bolaven plateau - Pakse  (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)

8:00 AM After breakfast Leave the Sinouk Resort in the morning at an elevation of 1000m and ride downhill towards Tad Lo. You can enjoy the cool air at this altitude. Pass small villages, farms and some Laotian ethnics’ minorities. Cycling here can be a bit though as you ride on undulating roads with climbs and descents throughout. Break at Tad Lo and have lunch in a local restaurant before you drive back towards Pakse. You will have a short break at Thad Pasuam, one of the most beautiful waterfall in the Bolaven.

Day 4: Pakse –Vat Phou–Champasak ancient city (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)

After breakfast ,we start the day heading out of Pakse, riding south to Ban Muang, a little town on the banks of the Mekong River. Here we cross over the river and explore the stunning Island of Don Daeng. Picnic lunch in Don Daeng Then, we head back over the Mekong River and cycle to the town of Champasak to spend the afternoon cycling around Vat Phou a Khmer Hindu temple complex which dates back to the 5th Century, recognized as a UNESCO world Heritage site.

Day 5: Champasak - River Life Experience in 4000 Islands (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner) 

6:00 AM If you wish to see the Alms giving ritual whereby the Buddhist monks collect food from people on the roadside. 8:30 AM From Champasak, we continue by car to 4000 Islands. (It is a 3 hours’ drive) Once on Don Det Island, relax and enjoy your lunch. Then we continue with River life experience. This is not an ordinary boat trip or site seeing tour. The river life experience is an adventure: Get ready to immerse yourself in local culture and life in Laos. You will learn about the traditional way of life and the religion on the island, for example: you will learn how to make a fishing net, Lao whiskey or rice baskets (depending on the season).

Day 6: Full day Kayak in 4000 Islands (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner)

Tour starts with a buffet breakfast at 8:30 am from Don Det. Then it is time for a full day kayaktour. You will be quickly briefed to learn how to navigate. We starts with a visit of the small islands nearby Don Det, for about 40 minutes, after what you will enjoy exciting rapids (grade 2-3). You'll meet beautiful and clean swimming spots, and stop on one of them for a Lao picnic lunch. This place is quite deserted, except by local fishermen who prepare the meals. After lunch, you'll continue paddling downstream for about one hour to the area where the last Irrawaddy Dolphins live, at the Lao Cambodian border. After spending a while relaxing and taking photos, the kayaks go on for 40 more minutes to Veun Kham, a place where a car is waiting to take you to the amazing and impressive Khone Phapheng Waterfall (biggest waterfall in Southeast Asia). Then you'll be driven by car to Nakasang, where you'll bepaddling back for the last time, back to Don Det.

Day 7: Departure (Breakfast) 

The morning is yours to relax at your leisure. Then we take the long tail boat to Nakasang, where we will drive you back to Pakse or we will drop you off at te Lao/Cambodia border.
